Our systems collect data from a wide range of sensors to give a complete picture of conditions on your property.

Our solutions support an extensive range of sensors which can be tailored to your needs including:

  • Weather stations (whether they be complete units or individual sensors)
  • Temperature probes
  • Soil moisture probes
  • Water quality including pH, EC
  • Plant sensors
  • Flow meters
  • Paddle Switches
  • Actuation valves
  • Pressure sensors
  • Injection pumps etc

All data and information is recorded and can be viewed in a graphical interface allowing for quick easy interpretation of data.

This data can be configured to trigger start and stop for the irrigation system based on weather, rain and soil moisture to allow complete automation with water on demand.

Soil Moisture

Soil moisture sensors are a valuable tool for scheduling of irrigation, fertigation and planting. The vast majority of soil moisture probes are compatible with the WiSA system. This includes TDR, TDS & Capacitance probes. Probes come in various configurations, from a single sensors, to multiple sensors measuring a variety of factors including:

  • Soil moisture
  • Temperature
  • Salinity

WiSA systems are fully integrated with leading moisture sensors including:

  • Sentek
  • EnviroPro
  • Aquaflex

Weather Stations

Weather Stations offer a robust and extremely reliable solution to collecting local weather data. Data collected can be used in a variety of ways, both for scheduling, and for protection. Some examples are:

  • Irrigation scheduling, based on EvapoTranspiration calculation.
  • Frost Protection, through overhead sprinkler or fan activation.
  • Heat Protection, through sprinkler activation.
  • Plant disease prediction.

Weather stations can be configured to include various sensors including:

  • Wind speed and direction
  • Rainfall collection and intensity
  • Air temperature
  • Humidity
  • Leaf wetness
  • Solar radiation
  • UV sensors
  • Barometric pressure

WiSA systems are fully integrated with leading weather stations including:

  • Davis Weather stations
  • Vaisala weather stations

Plant Sensors

A variety of plant sensors can be integrated into your WiSA system. These provide feedback directly from the plant. Some examples are:

  • Sap Flow
  • Trunk Diameter
  • Fruit Diameter
  • Leaf temperature
Sap Flow Sensor

Pressures and Flows

Naturally an irrigation system requires the correct amount of water to be delivered at the correct pressure. Industry standard instruments can be connected to your WiSA system to provide feedback on large number of variables. Some examples are:

  • Flow meters
  • Pressure transducers
  • pH / EC sensors
  • Temperature sensors
  • Level / Depth transducers
  • Tamper Switches
  • Flow switches
  • Load cells
